So a week ago, I was lucky enough to go to a fashion exhibit at a local museum. It was called "in the style of..." Basically, the fashions students at a local University took one or two garments and COMPLETELY remade them... In the style of a particular designer. It was absolutely incredible. And not only were the students' designs on display, but so were some REAL garments from HUGE designers. Like a gorgeous polka dot Cristobal Balenciaga dress, and a beautiful Chritian Dior black dress that looked curiously similar to Effie Trinket's dress in The Hunger Games.

Dresses aren't the ones I saw on display, but I saw a Balenciaga, and a couple of "in the style of Alexander McQueen". :)
